What the extension does

Yogent is a desktop app that runs e-commerce tasks you set up (for example: checking orders in your seller center, printing shipping labels, collecting prices). Yogent Extension lets that app carry out those tasks in your own Chrome browser — opening tabs, reading pages, clicking and filling forms — so it can use the sites you are already signed in to.

Data the extension handles

When the Yogent app on your computer requests it, the extension may read:

• Web page content of the tabs it is asked to work in (text, page structure, screenshots of the visible tab);
• The list of open tabs (titles and addresses), to find and manage the tabs it works in;
• Cookie names for a site, to tell whether you are signed in (cookie values are not read out);
• Your recent downloads list (file names and locations), to find a file the task just downloaded, such as a label PDF.

This data is passed only to the Yogent app on the same computer, over http://127.0.0.1:8798, which is not reachable from the network.

What happens to the data in the Yogent app

The Yogent app uses this data only to complete the task you configured. To decide the next step, the app may send relevant page text or screenshots to the AI model provider you configured in the app. Reports a task produces may be stored in your Yogent account so you can view them on your other devices. These flows are covered by the Yogent app's terms; the extension itself makes no network requests other than to 127.0.0.1.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your data, and do not use it for advertising.
• We do not use or transfer it for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose (letting your local Yogent app operate your browser).
• We do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
• The extension does not collect browsing history, and it does not run in the background on sites you visit on your own. It only acts on tabs the app asks it to act on.

The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Permissions and why they are needed

• tabs — open, find, switch and close the tabs a task works in.
• scripting — run the extension's built-in actions in a page (read text, click, fill a form field).
• debugger — run a task step that reads data from the page's own scripts. It is attached only for that step and detached right after; Chrome shows a notice while it is attached.
• cookies — check whether you are signed in to a site before a task starts.
• downloads — find a file a task has just downloaded.
• alarms, storage — keep the connection to the local app alive and remember small settings.
• Access to all sites — the tasks run in whichever seller centers and websites you use (TikTok Shop, Amazon, Temu, warehouse systems…), which cannot be listed in advance.

Your control

You can pause or remove the extension at any time from chrome://extensions. If the Yogent app is not running, the extension stays idle.

Yogent Extension 把你的 Chrome 和同一台电脑上的 Yogent 桌面应用连起来。扩展只和本机 127.0.0.1 通信，不向我们的服务器或任何第三方发送数据；Yogent 没让它做事时，它什么也不做。

按 Yogent 的指令，扩展可能读取：它被要求操作的标签页的网页内容和截图、打开的标签页列表、某个网站的 Cookie 名称（判断是否已登录，不读取值）、最近的下载列表（找到任务刚下载的文件）。这些数据只交给本机的 Yogent 应用，用来完成你设置的任务；Yogent 应用为了决定下一步，可能把相关网页内容发给你在应用里配置的 AI 模型服务。我们不出售数据、不用于广告、不用于与本扩展单一用途无关的目的。随时可以在 chrome://extensions 停用或删除扩展。联系：help@yogent.ai。
